FIRESIDE RESCUES ONLINE SHOP

Fireside will soon be launching an online shop for all things doggy. This will be situated on the forums section of our site, and we hope to be able to provide quality goods at very competitive prices with all profits going into rescue funds, meaning you get a great deal on pet supplies and also have the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping rescue dogs at the same time.

KENNEL SPONSORSHIP

With the number of dogs needing rescue places at the moment we are heavily relying on our emergency kennels who are kind enough to offer us space at reduced cost, we along with staffycross have introduced kennel sponsorship, £4.00 pays the kennelling for one dog for one nights kennelling, many of these dogs are on death row in pounds and when we are approached to help they are already out of time and due for pts, even one nights sponsorship can give us vital time in which to secure a rescue placement and save a life. You can sponsor a kennel via our paypal button on the homepage or by cheque made payable direct to our kennels (please mark kennel sponsor when making payments) you will receive in return a picture and details of the dog or dogs you have sponsored and the warm glow that goes with knowing you have saved a life. An example of this is Jada who was dumped heavily pregnant in the pound, we have covered her boarding whilst she had her puppies at a cost of over £300 and Irene at the kennels has given them the care they require (thank you Irene and Claire you are stars) the puppies are shortly to move into foster care and Jada is now seeking a forever home, thanks to kind donations yet it could all have been so different. With your help we hope to be able to help many more dogs like Jada and her babies.

MIDSUMMER AUCTION

We will be holding an online auction on fireside forums running from the 16th June to the 23rd June 2006 in aid of Fireside Rescue and Staffycross Welfare Trust if you have any items to donate to us for the auction please contact either mel at firesiderescue@tiscali.co.uk or Allie at alisongreen@staffycross.org with piccies and or description of your item an email will be sent to all members when items are available for viewing
