1.
You do not part with the dog other than to return
him/her to Fireside rescue, Under no circumstances
is the dog to be re-homed by the adopter. Or put
to sleep without the prior permission of Fireside
rescue unless in a veterinary surgeons view such
action is required on medical grounds, if this
is the case then a certificate must be obtained.
2. Fireside Rescue provide insurance for the first
six weeks after adoption in order to give the
adopter time to negotiate their own Insurance
which should include third party liability.
3. At no time should the dog be allowed out on
his/her own without a lead, and only when you
are sure that the dog will come back to you immediately
when called should you let him/her off lead and
then only in an open space where you can be aware
of anyone approaching always be on alert for other
dogs who may not be under the control of their
owner
4. An authorized member of Fireside Rescue must
be allowed to visit the dog at a convenient time
to ensure that he/she is happy and settled, that
person may if in their opinion the conditions
on this form are not being adhered to, repossess
the dog without interference.
5. If the dog is lost or stolen Fireside must
be informed immediately along with your local
police , dog warden and stray kennels.
6. The dog is to only be kept as a personal pet
and therefore must live indoors.
7. It is your responsibility to provide qualified
veterinary care in cases of illness and injury
and ensure that annual vaccination boosters are
given
8. Wherever possible dogs are neutered before
re homing and under no circumstances is breeding
from a rescue dog allowed and any evidence of
such WILL result in the immediate removal of the
dog from your care it is our job as a rescue to
help the many dogs who are currently in need NOT
to produce more.
9. the dog should wear a collar at all times attached
to which should be a disc bearing your Address
and telephone number but not the dogs name
10. As the dogs keeper responsibility for any
nuisance, damage or injury caused by the dog whilst
in your care lies with you.
11. Any donation made to rescue is a contribution
to current and future veterinary costs incurred
by the rescue and is not taken as payment for
any particular dog. Please note that whilst every
precaution is taken when rehoming puppies no responsibility
can be taken as to the true parentage of the dog.
All dogs are to the best of our knowledge of the
breeding stated on the form. |
